Gathering¶

Everything the Box and the Serum need is found in the ordinary Overworld and Nether, just not where you usually look. The Traveler's Guide opens its later chapters as you find each of these.

Tesseract¶

Tesseract Ingot

Tesseract Ore hides in deepslate, in small veins from the bottom of the world up to Y -16. You need an iron pickaxe or better. Smelt Raw Tesseract into Tesseract Ingots in a furnace or blast furnace.

Galena (lead)¶

Galena sits in ordinary stone between Y 0 and Y 48 and needs a stone pickaxe. Smelt Raw Galena into Lead Ingots, then press two ingots side by side into two Lead Plates.

Hush Sand¶

Hush Sand

Hush Glass

Hush Sand lies in pockets in the deepslate and sculk of the Deep Dark. Smelt it into Hush Glass. Tread softly down there: the Warden lives in the same place.

Quantum geodes¶

Quantum Cluster

Quantum Shard

Quantum geodes form deep underground, below Y 30, and are rarer than amethyst geodes. Break the Quantum Clusters on their inner walls with a pickaxe for four Quantum Shards each (two with anything else). The Budding Superposition does not grow new clusters, so take every one you find.

Phase Salt¶

Phase Salt Crystal

Phase Salt Crust grows into the soul sand and soul soil of the Nether's Soul Sand Valleys. Each crust breaks into one to three Phase Salt Crystals.

Pale Lotus¶

Pale Lotus

The Pale Lotus grows along the shores of swamps and mangrove swamps. It opens only at night, and only an open flower can be picked: a closed one breaks into nothing. Go out after dark.
